Not truly new information

Not truly new information but due to many misunderstandings, we would like to take this opportunity to address once more the issue of our exclusively used material.

All of our sports and play equipment is made from polymer concrete (previously: acrylic concrete). The terms mineral composites, molded mineral, and cast minerals are sometime used synonymously. To simply use the term concrete is incorrect. Concrete alone usually describes the different types of cement concrete. Cement concrete is porous and absorbs water. This means it deteriorates over time due to weathering; penetrating water freezes and the upper layer of the concrete flakes off. (By the way, this also happens with concrete advertised as "weatherproof"...)

Polymer concrete - with polyester resin as binder - does not absorb water and is therefore always absolutely frost proof. Please visit polymer concrete for additional information about our exclusive material.
